Ribcraft Leisure are delighted to have appointed www.quay.je as a dealer in the Channel Islands. Quay will take delivery of a very high specification demonstration Ribcraft 585 in July which they intend to keep available for sea trials while also offering the use of the boat to a local sailing club for youth coaching.
Ben Dandridge of Quay and also a member of https://www.54knots.com/ who take on some extreme offshore passage attempts stated that the “Ribcraft’s renowned seakeeping capabilities and build quality combine for this to be the RIB that we have been waiting for. We firmly believe that we should only sell capable boats, suited to our exposed waters so we welcomed the news of Ribcraft launching a leisure range”
Toby Adams, CEO of Ribcraft shared the enthusiasm: “ I am based in the Channel Islands and look forwards to developing the Ribcraft brand in my home fishing grounds. Ben and Miles of Quay immediately struck me as the ideal partners for this market. I keep a Ribcraft Leisure 350 in St Peter Port for my own fishing and family outings so look forward to motoring across to St Helier to catch up with the Quay team.
Miles Strong of Quay added that “while Jersey is a smaller market, the island has a stunning coastline and that Ribcraft should be ideal for day trips to the Ecrehou and Minquie archipelagos, watersports, fishing and family adventures. The weather can turn very quickly here and we have extremely strong tidal races so we only work with brands that give our buyers the confidence to be able to get home
Olly Stevens of Ribcraft Leisure said that “with strong family ties to the island, I am thrilled to be working with Quay. The Ribcraft Leisure range fits perfectly into their current portfolio of Axopar, Nordstar Pardo and Princess and should offer their buyers a really enticing, non-conflicting alternative. Our goal is to offer dealers something that will grow their market and this looks like a great match on all levels.”
